ses petites mains refers not only to the sweet, little hands of those who would wear the clothes. But also, to the delicate details which separate disposable clothing from those you hope to cherish forever. ses petites mains tiny chic clothing for girls, in sizes 12 month – 8 years, is designed by Beth Miles and manufactured in San Francisco.

“When I had my daughter, I was constantly scouring flea markets for items that were clean of branding and trends that overwhelmed her delicate, beautiful nature. ses petites mains attempts to capture the styles and details that I so hoped to find.

“I love the idea of all fabrics being able to be worn together. As children love to throw 'anything' on, I designed all the pieces work together. Shirtwaists with slips; slips as dresses; slips as loungewear; tunics with bermudas; halter overalls--darling with or without anything underneath.

The youngest of seven children, Beth grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. A believer in ‘idle hands create idle minds”-- Beth’s mother taught her to sew, knit, embroider, and crochet at a very young age. Beth’s favorite question of her sister was ‘do you want to make stuff?” And that they did.

A childhood of handwork grew into a labor of love that landed Beth in NYC where she spent ten years working for many esteemed design houses.

However, with a move to San Francisco and the birth of her daughter in 2002, Beth took a slower course in life, celebrating the splendor and temporalness of her young child.

In creating ses petites mains, Beth has combined her appreciation of the innate beauty of a child; with her love of fabric and fine detail.

ses petites mains has been enthusiastically embraced by those who care about the quiet details of childrenswear and is available in finer boutiques.
